Throughout 2024-2025, the Georgian Dental Association successfully conducted a series of training courses in various cities across the country, including Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Ozurgeti, and Gori. The topics covered were “Prevention and Control of Infections Associated with Dental Services” and “Management of Medical Waste in Dentistry.”
These accredited training courses, which awarded 12 CPD credits, were designed for individuals responsible for infection control and waste management in dental clinics. The courses were led by GSA President Ketevan Gogilashvili, Vice-President Zurab Alkhanishvili, and representatives from the National Center for Disease Control. The updated training module covered both theoretical and practical issues, fully aligned with current regulations and standards, ensuring the professional development of thousands of specialists.
