On July 12-13, 2024, the Georgian Dental Association (GSA) held its 20th Anniversary Congress at the Sheraton Hotel in Batumi. The event, celebrating two decades of the association’s activities, featured presentations from world-class speakers, masterclasses, and panel discussions.
The congress included lectures from leading international specialists: Cristina Bellucci (Italy) spoke on techniques for restoring physiological occlusion, Aron Ilizarov (USA) discussed risk assessment in dental implantation, Bora Korkut (Turkey) presented methods for restoring discolored teeth, and Massimo Pasi (Italy) introduced the OT-Bridge technique.
Leading Georgian specialists, including Sofio Samkharadze, Tea Natsvlishvili, Zurab Alkhanishvili, Mariam Kurtsikidze, and Nino Nebieridze, also delivered presentations and conducted masterclasses. The anniversary congress was highly praised by participants and once again highlighted the GSA’s crucial role in advancing dentistry in the country.
