On July 11, 2025, during the 21st International Congress of the Georgian Dental Association, a new, fundamental work—a two-volume textbook in endodontics—was presented to the medical community. The book, based on extensive clinical experience and the latest research, has been approved by both Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the Georgian Dental Association.
A team of authors worked on the textbook: Ketevan Gogilashvili, Sofio Samkharadze, Mariam Kurtsikidze, Nino Nebieridze, and Mariam Khardziani.
As the project leader and one of the authors, Ketevan Gogilashvili, noted, this book represents more than just the sharing of knowledge for her.
“This is a story of dedication and mutual respect that I created together with talented and hardworking young authors. I am delighted to have contributed to their success and the first steps they have taken on their path to authorship. In this process, I had the opportunity to let their voices be heard in professional literature. I am proud that we walked this path together with dignity,” stated Ketevan Gogilashvili.
During the presentation, it was emphasized that this publication symbolizes the successful transfer of knowledge and responsibility between generations. “This book is proof that a generation, when properly seen and nurtured, is ready to take responsibility for the future of the profession!” remarked Ketevan Gogilashvili at the presentation in Batumi.
The new two-volume set is a significant addition to Georgian medical literature and will help future generations deepen their professional knowledge.
