On June 26, 2018, meeting of the Professional Education Field Council was held at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement. Council members discussed various professional standards, including the professional education program of the Dentist’s Assistant. Council members evaluated the submitted documents positively and approved the project unanimously.
Dentist’s Assistant – person with this specialization will be able to assist conservative dentist, prosthodontist, orthodontist, oral surgeon, dental hygienist in treatment of teeth and oral diseases, lesions and in diagnostic process; independently clean and provide disinfection/sterilization of instruments, devices-machines used during examination and treatment process of the patient; independently provide dental radiography.
